We will be offering bimonthly programming for homeschoolers on the first and third Tuesday of every month from 10am – 12pm. This program will consist of eight lessons and will run from August to November. Each lesson will cost $15 per student, or $110 for the full 8-lesson season. We will be focusing on topics including animal husbandry (chickens), soil science and composting, planting and harvesting in the field, cooking and kitchen operations, and much more.
Each day we will begin with a lesson on the topic of the day and continue with a hands-on experience, with a break in the middle. We are opening this program to homeschool students from ages 8 – 16. At this time we will accept a maximum of 15 students in each group led by GDG farmer educators. We will need to have a minimum paid class size of 10 students for this program to run. Please help us spread the word and tell your friends and family in the homeschool community! Signups will be first come first serve. Please use this form to sign up.
