Like to get your hands in the dirt? Interested in learning more about how a gourmet organic farm grows and sells produce?  Had a good time here last year and would like to return?  We hope you will join us for a new and exciting season of Work Trade this year! Your Commitment

Our Work Trade internship runs from April 17- September 29. Be ready to perform exhilarating farm work including seeding, weeding, sorting, harvesting planting, and packing. As this work can be labor intensive, you must be able to

Lift 60 lbs,
Work in hot or rainy weather
Perform repetitive tasks.
Attend consistently and promptly from 8am-12pm
Come with a smile and be ready to work on your your selected day: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.

What You Receive

All your hard work won’t go without its just rewards!  After the morning session, you will be presented with a variety of food form the farm from which to pack a box to take home!  On the day you’re on the farm, you will also qualify for a “friends discount” on many items in the farm store.

Need a more flexible option?

We have more volunteer opportunities available for those who love the farm but don’t necessarily want to make a seasonal commitment.  Send us an e-mail to let us know you are interested in other volunteering opportunities.

There are a limited amount of volunteer spots, so be sure to email me to express interest as soon as possible. Once final decisions are made we will contact you in order to start finalizing the day of the week you prefer to work, go over expectations between Green Door Gourmet (us) and intern-farmer (you), and give you a liability waiver to sign.
