Dig deep to get to the roots of Southern cooking and join us for this exciting new addition to our Green Door Gourmet culinary classes!Â
"Cooking In The South" will be a three-part series led by farm owner and Southern faire extraordinare, Sylvia Ganier, as she shares her knowledge and experience of everything from entertaining a crowd to executing a shared meal. She will walk you through stories and lore while using demos and light participation to keep the classes interactive and insightful!
Class One: Â Essential Southern Staples - Saturday, April 8th from 11:00am-1:00pm
Topics to include cast iron, cornbread to pound cakes and southern veggies
Class Two: Â Southern Comfort Food - Â Saturday, April 15th from 11:00am-1:00pm
Topics to include chicken, pork, seasonings and syrups
Class Three: Â Sunday Supper - Â Saturday, April 22nd from 11:00am-1:00pm
Topics to include company faire and party food
$125/per class
